David Santiago
David is from the Chicago area but has long since made his home in or around Washington, D.C., where he now lives with his family. He has been for many years a federal government employee. He currently works as a digital technology strategist in the public sector.
“The Saboteur” is a serial in four parts that concludes in issue 977. It is complete on line as of the first instalment.
The story’s title identifies the quarry in a search. Public health official Ofelia Burgos is due to give a speech at a convention in Washington, D.C. But she wakens in a posh hotel room to realize she has been kidnapped and her lecture notes have been stolen. Ofelia is unfazed by her predicament, and she has an idea who might have created it, and why. However, assembling the pieces of the mystery will require the aid of friends as well as guzzling lots of wine and caring for a strange dog.
