Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Dee Artea
Dee lives in Winnipeg and says she found her “creative voice at the age of 77.” She has since published short stories and poems. But Dee’s viewpoint is very much like that of Bewildering Stories itself: “the act of writing ever entails amusement and gratification, whether or not the work appears in print.”
“Where Do the Freckles Go?” might seem to be a strange take on what used to be called “the forgetfulness of old age” but has since acquired medical terms I can’t remember how to spell. Iris, an old lady who can’t remember her own name, may strike readers as a little on the late side to get quite so horny, but she is only expressing a common wish, that she knew “then” what she’s asking her old boyfriend to show her now.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Dee. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
