Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Steven Utley
Just to look at Steven’s biographical sketch, you’ll quickly see he’s a very unusual talent: a pro golfer and linebacker born in the 18th century and deceased at the age 62 before, during or after teaching middle school. In an aside, he’s told of a Doppelgänger who might even be Don Webb’s nemesis, Muggsy.
But Steven has revealed to the Asimov’s forum that he’s actually an omnilector with enormously wide interests. That will come as no surprise to readers of the Analog and Asimov’s magazines, where Steven’s stories have been very well received. Maybe Steven’s lead-in to his biographical sketch is only partly fanciful: it takes an Internet composite to keep up with the real Steven Utley!
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Steven. Thank you for your poems; we look forward to hearing from you frequently!
