David Stephen Powell

David is originally from London, where he pursued a career for many years as a professional musician. He now lives with his family in Italy. David writes short stories primarily but says he also has some historical novels on file.

“Bob and Rachel” will surely amuse readers as well as raise an eyebrow or two. The story appears at first to be a modern social-media comedy about a couple who seem to be in a state of constant nagging. We see and hear the insecurity in Bob’s exchange with a computer voice named Melanie. Meanwhile, Rachel is doing the same, presumably, with one named Mark. The conclusion will leave the reader wondering just how useful the computer advice really is.
