Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Ann Christine Tabaka
Ann Christine lives in Delaware with her husband and cats. She has retired from careers as an organic chemist and personal trainer. In a kind of parallel vocation, she was an illustrator and painter for many years. In addition to swimming, gardening and cooking, Ann Christine has published poetry voluminously; it has won many prizes and awards.
“Life Melting” is a poem that joins many that Bewildering Stories has received in the redoubled-zero year of 2020, ones that revisit the classic topic of memento mori. The poem is distinguished by a subtle bit of sly humor. Once the readers who see it subside from chuckling at the joke, they may suddenly realize: “OMG! She’s right!”
