Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Emer Mahoney
Emer apparently lives in Kinvara, a village on the west coast of Ireland. It is her native town as well as that of her mother-in-law, who has provided oral history that dates back a hundred years. Emer and her husband John has formed a repertory drama company and have performed, among other things, many works of Yeats. They have co-authored dramatic works with notable success.
“The Touch” is a moral tale that illustrates how the ties of friendship and a home have value that can long outlast the short-sightedness of greed, although an almost supernatural “touch” may be welcome in removing the obstacle to happiness.
