Angelo J. Letizia

Angelo lives with his family in northern Maryland and holds the position of Professor of Education at a school in Baltimore. He has published scholarly works extensively as well as poetry and short stories.

“The Pious Lie” will impress readers as a philosophical poem on the topic of memento mori. It ascribes extinction not to natural causes but to a kind of cosmic hunger. One may wonder whom or what the ravenous “gods” might feed.
