Richie Billing

Richie stays up late at night watching professional basketball or writing fantasy, historical fiction and dark tales. He has published short fiction extensively, and a novel is due out in 2020.

“The White of the Canvas” is a sentimental story that readers will easily accept for its moral: redemption may be found under the right conditions. Stuart is a homeless wino living in an abandoned building. For a dumpster-diver, he seems quite picky about the kinds of pizza he retrieves, but the food may be a clue to his talent as an artist, which he reclaims even as his derelict building is turned into an art gallery.
