Scott Hughes

Scott Hughes is Division Head of English at Central Georgia Technical College. He has published short fiction and poetry extensively. Collections of his horror stories and poetry are forthcoming in 2019.

“Songcaster and Little Dune” is complete on line as of the first installment; readers have access to the whole story ahead of the schedule.

Readers will be quickly drawn into the story. In a post-apocalyptic setting, it brings together the styles of two genres: the vivid, fast-paced action of wild-west stories and the “magick” of fantasy, where spells and incantations serve both as weapons and as art.
