Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Gerard Coulombe
A friend of M. Coulombe reports that the poet works in a variety of forms and is noted for layered meanings and rhymes. A former teacher and native of Maine, he is the past president of the Connecticut Poetry Societry and now lives in Fairfield.
“Slash Slash, Screech Screech” will surely entertain and mystify readers at the same time. Who should one feel sorry for: the reading lady, her snoring couch partner, or their dog? The Gilbert & Sullivan grammar introduces an unexpected playful note. To understand the couple’s positions and contortions, readers may need a specialty in topology. And adding the fourth dimension to the customary three would probably help. All told, truly a Bewildering poem.
