Frank Kozusko
Frank is a retired U.S. Navy submarine officer and nuclear engineer. He has also had a 20-year career as a professor of Mathematics. He started writing poetry some years ago and has published several collections. He also writes short stories, paints in acrylics and does sculptures.
“Merry River” will creep up on readers very slowly. They will think they’re reading about a “take your child to work” day and that it’s all really quite ordinary, like the father and daughter themselves. They will come to realize, though, that they are reading a horror story, which is all the more effective for being told in straightforward realism.
