Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Charles Haddox
Charles lives in El Paso, Texas on a small hill surrounded by fruit trees. Writing has been a life-long vocation, and he began writing short stories about ten years ago. He has published extensively.
In Wild Strawberries and Moonlight, a group of friends attend a fair. Their visit takes on a magical quality that is very charming, because the magic is in the perception. If one were to make a fine point of it, the result is not really a short story; it’s more on the order of a lyrical essay or a dramatized prose poem. And it has just the right atmosphere for a midsummer’s eve.
