Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Tom Vaine
Tom is a high-school English teacher who lives in Elora, Ontario, not far from Bewildering Stories’ headquarters. He likes to write in the genres of fantasy and horror as a way of exploring the human condition. And he says he enjoys fictional monsters.
“Her Mother’s Girl” brings on stage a group of middle-school pupils whom, I suspect, teachers know all too well. Sheena and her friends form a gang of bullies, and they pick on a classmate, Sadie. But there is a twist: the influence of Sadie’s mother. Readers will be disturbed by questions about Sadie and her mother but, in the end, they’ll be rooting for Sadie to hold her own.
Tom Vaine’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Tom. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
