Paul Alex Gray

Paul has travelled far: from “the beaches of southeastern Australia” to the wide world. He now lives with his family in Canada. He’s made a career in computers as a startup founder, game designer, marketer and, now, an advisor to technology entrepreneurs.

In writing fiction, Paul says he prefers science fiction and fantasy, especially stories featuring weird or unlikely characters. He has published previously on the Net.

“Respawn” will bring a smile to high-action video gamers. Never mind the gamers; what is it like to be an avatar in combat? The subgenre has precedents, of course, especially in rare, early attempts to make stories out of classic chess games. But those stories never had the action that Paul takes from the screen!
