Bewildering Stories welcomes...
James Taylor
James is from Birmingham, in the UK and has had several different vocations. A degree in geology has taken him to far corners of the earth. He has taught English in the Czech Republic and taught photography to refugees in the Bosnian war. Currently, James is the owner of Chantek, an Asian fusion restaurant, and he writes columns about food and football.
“The Catfish King” is a combination of a prose poem and a story that may appeal to fans of Franz Kafka. When the audience hears the unusual violin music, do they devolve into “bottom feeders” or do they reveal their true nature? In either case, one may surmise that the music is not the kind a dictatorship would approve of.
James Taylor’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, James. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
