This photo was taken in Toronto on August 21, 2017 during a partial solar eclipse using an iPhone 5s without a physical filter. I used the built-in iOS Transfer mode when the shot was taken to filter the colours and later added an additional enhancement to the overall image using a third-party app. You can clearly see the tiny reflected crescent image of the partially covered sun beside the real one.
