Sultana Raza

Sultana has an advanced degree in English literature. Her poetry has appeared in more than 25 journals, and she has won special recognition for prose fiction. Her literary scholarship has focused on John Keats and J. R. R. Tolkien.

“Capsizing Prospects” will take readers “along for the ride” as young Keats travels to Rome. Literary historians may note a certain irony, since the trip was undertaken ostensibly for the sake of the poet’s health. Voyages — especially by sea — were always somewhat fraught in the Romantic era.
