Bewildering Stories welcomes...
E. J. Pace
Jerine Pace Watson — writintg as E. J. Pace — is originally from Texas but has lived mostly on the U.S. west coast. She has written poetry and short stories voluminously, mostly in a “whimsical,” comedic style. She has also won an award as Best Supporting Actress in a Tennessee Williams play in a season at the Old Globe.
“Homer Barnett’s Last Worry” is a comic story about an undertaker whose fondness for alcohol leads him to create some very strange open-casket funerals. Homer Barnett’s worry: “Is he going to do that to me?”One of our Review Editors says that Homer’s concern is not at all far-fetched and, honestly, we would be amazed how weirded out people can get about funerals and burials. As we like to say, “There is no story so truly Bewildering as reality.”
E. J. Pace’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Jerine. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
