Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Roy Dorman
Roy lives in Madison, Wisconsin, and has taken up writing after retiring from an administration position at the University. He’s also the submissions editor at the webzine Yahara Prairie Lights and has published extensively on line and in print.
“The High Priest of Roadkill” will certainly amuse readers with its depiction of small-town life enlivened by two eccentric characters. One collects roadkill and buries it in his backyard, for mysterious reasons. The other is an ornery deputy sheriff who tends to get bent out of shape by strange people, particularly one who collects roadkill and trundles it through town in a wheelbarrow on his way home. The result is dark humor, Midwestern style.
