Andreea Daia

Andreea finds herself absorbed by turns in music, painting, sculpture, photography and graphic design. And she enjoys participating in writing competitions and creative writing classes. Her formal education has been in business, for which she develops statistical applications. She has a blog about the economic aspects of the publishing industry. Her short fiction has appeared in various journals and one has won an honorable mention prize.

“The Price of Remembering” is full of action. Even so, its interiority gives it the air of a prose poem. The narrator has to choose between her own happiness and that of her community. Her decision is made both easier and more complex by clairvoyance, which allows her to see alternate pasts and futures.
