Jonathan Pickering

Jonathan lives in a suburb of Boston. He has degrees in writing, literature, publishing and education. He’s published fiction in several literary journals. He has also compiled a book of oral histories by veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“The Land of Wires” is a coming of age story set in the world of a post-mechanistic apocalypse. Teenage readers will surely identify with the young hero who must go to the “land of wires” and bring home trophies of courage and knowledge. Young-adult readers can well imagine how those trophies might come in handy for a Stone Age people who must learn how to live with nature in a world where robotic evolution has run amok.
