Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Elizabeth Racz
Elizabeth is originally from Hungary but has been writing poetry and song lyrics only in English since the age of 45. Among her favorite writiers are John Wyndham and Stephen King. She teaches piano, composes music, and draws portraits in pencil. The band Klaatu has recorded her songs.
“Last Night” is a kind of “torch song” about a romantic love that is either dead or unrequited. At any rate, it is about a couple who desperately need to talk to each other.
Is the narrator male or female? I don’t know what distinction, if any, Hungarian would make, but English grammar leaves the choice open to either one.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Elizabeth. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
