Dear Grandchildren,
You may remember on occasion
That I wrote stories and poems.
And you may even, on a slow day,
Read one and wonder
Why the hell I did it.
So here’s the A to Z of why I wrote.
I liked to expose myself.
Not literally, of course;
I was too old to make it interesting,
But just in images that give you
Acquaintance with my distended views
Of our existence.
