Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Nick Pipitone
Nick is a native of Philadelphia and lives in the suburbs. He has a degree in Journalism from Temple University and works as an editor for a trade publication. He has published articles as a journalist in news and sports. He says he’s new to writing fiction and concentrates on spirituality, religion, addiction and people confronting problems in life.
“City of Dogs” will repay study of its prose style, especially for its economical characterization and depiction of motion. The “city of dogs” is a metaphor for a blighted society. The single mother who has lost her son to addiction is a study in desperation and lost hope. The ending may seem bleak, but it nonetheless offers a glimmer of hope.
