Charlie Allison

Charlie lives in West Philadelphia and is currently a graduate student at Arcadia University. He’s very busy with research and helps manage a writers’ forum.

“Krish’s New Pet” is a short story that, in outline form, seems rather ordinary. Krish goes to an animal shelter and brings home a kitty-cat in need of love and care. But all stories can be reduced to bare bones; that’s only where they begin. This one will charm readers out of their socks with its fantastical and humorous imagery and Krish’s kindness for a needy new pet.
