Barry Charman

Barry lives in North London and has published poetry extensively in various magazines on line and in print.

“Adrift” depicts an astronaut who is “lost in space” and finds himself drifting toward the event horizon of a black hole, an ultimate symbol of infinity.

Readers may wonder whether being holed by a micrometeroid might achieve the same purpose. But one thing is sure: the poem was written long before the recent “Brexit” refrendum. Readers interpret the poem in light of current events at their peril.
