Lisl’s earliest ambition was to become a spy. Eventually, she turned to poetry and other genres instead. She is currently working on collections of short stories, essays and historical fiction.

“Winter Islands” will appeal to readers fond of the mists and mysteries in the Scandinavian myths and sagas.
