He came west to study the stars
To this ancient city far from Ming
He improved knowledge of the planet Mars
Praise of him a world would sing
For the denizens of that world came
Seeking to glorify his interest in stargazing
On their world he lived in fame
The Earth he betrayed avoids such praising
