Mike Madison

Mike lives in the Pacific Northwest. He’s a Web developer and has published technical articles in journals and conference proceedings. However, his passion is for writing, especially fantasy, science fiction and slipstream.

“Distinction in the Darkness” will engage readers by its realistic and yet sympathetic portrayal of Alex, who comforts his sometimes diffcult mother in her nursing home. The story gradually reveals that Alex and his mother are not exactly who Alex thinks they are. And it will leave readers with a sobering thought: Are we — and others — who we think we are?
