Bewildering Stories welcomes...
F. Hampton Carmine
Hampton lives in North Carolina. He has been writing fiction for more than fifty years. In the meantime, he has acquired degrees from East Carolina University in Psychology, Speech Pathology, Special Education and Computer Science. He composes band and orchestra music and writes human interest stories as well as science fiction and fantasy.
“The Great Tree’s Last Thoughts” is a pleasant fable with science-fiction trimmings. The tree is the last, sad remnant of an ecological apocalypse, but it holds hope for the humans who have escaped and who have learned how to listen and talk to it.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Hampton. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
