Jessica Down

Jessica is from Seattle and will graduate from Evergreen State College, in Olympia, Washington, this year. She writes experimental conceptual science fiction. She has been published by the League for Innovation for Creative Nonfiction.

“You™” is certainly an experimental, innovative and creative story. Is it fiction or nonfiction? At any rate, it is certainly intriguing. Perhaps it describes a writer’s thought processes in composing a story like — who knows? — “You™.”

The story is also colorful for its multidimensionality, namely the use of strikeout text, and its use of graphics less as illustrations than as unconventional modes of narration. Bewildering Stories is glad to be able to give such interesting avant-garde writing a chance to be seen and experienced.
