Bewildering Stories welcomes...
M. C. Tuggle
M. C. has an M.A. in English from Wake Forest University. He has long enoyed working with electronics, which he says led to computer programming and a career in the insurance business. He enjoys reading history and gives lectures on Civil War battles. He enjoys writing fantasy, science fiction and mainstream short stories.
“Snake Heart” tells a sad story of a girl who is viewed with alarm because she prefers human company to life on the “Grid.” To answer my own Challenge question: sociologists have noticed a marked decline in emotional empathy in the past dozen years among frequent users of social media.
M. C. Tuggle’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, M. C. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
