Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Maureen L. Falkowitz
Maureen lives in Jackson, New Jersey, where she participates in a writing group in her community. She has had long and successful careers in teaching, health insurance, and technical writing.
“Sheila and the Gypsy” tells of a kind of Romeo and Juliet story of a love between Sheila, who is Jewish, and Abednego, a Roma. Their story takes on special irony in view of view of the long histories of both their peoples in Europe and, especially, in the first half of the 20th century.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Maureen. And thank you for the bittersweet but warm-hearted story!
