Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Jill Corddry
Jill lives in Calfornia, where she is raising twin children. She previously had a career in writing on-line content for some “dot-coms” in Seattle. Jill keeps an active presence on line.
“Homeward Bound” appears to be a story about Wicker, a kind of special-needs child. It’s told from the point of view of his foster sister, Amalda. The story will interest readers mainly for its account of the feelings that Amalda, her family and her friends have for Wicker, and the relationships that are implied. At the end, readers will be left to ponder the significance of Wicker’s being a space alien. If he were a human child, he would not be able to escape.
