Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Garin G. Webb
Garin lives with his very musical family in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has degrees in music from the University of North Texas and the University of Cincinnati Conservatory. He has taught jazz and performed with groups, bands and symphonies in the Midwest and in many parts of the world.
Garin’s essay “The Devil in Blues, Ragtime and Jazz” is a series of lectures and a handy reference work for students of music history, and it comes with a selection of audio clips from early classics. The essay deals with sociology as well as music; and as one of our Review Editors has pointed out, the more difficult the progress, the more lasting its influence is likely to be.
Garin Webb’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Garin. You’ve written a more practical and informative term paper than your father ever did when he was a student.
