Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Thomas Lesh
Tom is a native of Chicago and a life-long resident. He has degrees in History from the University of Chicago. He has written several plays of various lengths and some poetry. Lately he’s turned to speculative and magical realism in short fiction.
“The Frog Prince” is a kind of “twisted fairy tale” or, perhaps more accurately, a traditional tale stood on its head. The old story goes, “Kiss a frog, get a prince.” What if it were the other way around, when the prince is really an overdressed frog? If the story were a play, the magician would have the juiciest role.
