Andrew Frew

Andrew is a member of the Rhode Island Paranormal Research Group, which searches for spirits in southeastern New England. He’s also a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.

“Bone Brew” is based on a Scottish folk tale and, as such, joins a number of similar ones by other authors at Bewildering Stories. However, Andrew has taken a new tack in the subgenre by updating the legend for modern readers. The story takes a realistic view “rather than the malicious characterizations that are all too common in the literature.”
