Astrid lives in Aalborg, Denmark and works as a chartered surveyor. With the help of speech recognition software, she has begun to write and publish her short fiction.

“The Silence of the Silver Bells” is an engaging fantasy: a flying boat is protected from wizards’ spells by tinkling bells in its rigging. But on that boat a dark drama plays out when an abandoned child returns to haunt the captain.
