Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Edward Reubens
Edward lives with his family in Spokane, Washington. He graduated fromr Gonzaga University with a degree in English and taught in Japan for seven years. He now works for the Washington state Department of Corrections.
“The Bruce Mansion” concludes in issue 483 but is complete on line as of this issue. Just follow the “Proceed” links or those in the Table of Contents.
The story is about an antique haunted house — at least at the outset. But the protagonists — two young men — are quite modern in their speech and outlook. The story gradually becomes rather complex, as we learn that the “haunts” are themselves haunted. Such an enfolding of mystery seems almost certain to end in a double tragedy.
