Josie Gowler

Josie has published a number of short stories. She specializes in science fiction and fantasy and “weird tales set in the East Anglian Fens.” She’s currently working on a “trashy coming-of-age space opera.” Sounds like fun! And Josie is also a Napoleonic re-enactor — check out the photo of Josie in uniform!

“Rotted Iron” sees decaying post-industrial infrastructure from a the viewpoint of severe depression. The story captures if not the spirit of a dark age, at least one of its predominant moods.
