Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Susan A. Hagedorn
Susan began reading science fiction at age 9 and now, close to retirement, hopes to return the favour by writing her own. She has a special interest drawn from her career as a science writer and editor: accurate science. And it’s an interest that has been passed down in her family.
“Stuff of Dreams,” written in collaboration with Cheryl W. Ruggiero, was inspired by reports of microbial life found in the melting glaciers of Antarctica. But that is only the premise. What if the revival of prehistoric germs triggers ancient genes in humans — and causes people to devolve to a state before language?
