Scott is Senior Editor of the Houston Literary Review and has published extensively on line and in print.

“The Needle” is based on a rich man’s asking Jesus how to gain entry into the Kingdom of Heaven. The disciples had questions for Jesus, and “The Needle” will provoke questions in its readers. Scott’s story has inspired “Taking Notice,” also in this issue.
