She considered him an old friend
Even though they never met
For he lived his simple life in Tibet
She as a waitress in Adelaide4
Still she knew she would find him yet
This dream could live beyond death
Beyond his rebirth as a house pet
Nothing could convince her it a lie
So she spent heaven in anticipation
Watching his successive rebirths
While he anxiously paid his karmic debt
Preparing for his enlightenment with her
When their destinies would finally been set
Paths crossed millennia hence
In an afterlife beyond all hopes
An eternity together
The age of separation they could now forget
