Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Morris Jacks
“Morris Jacks” is the pen name of Michael Dalelio. Readers and, I hope, the author, will understand why the editor was confused at first about which was the real name and which, the pen name!
Speaking of which, one of our early editors had a lot of fun inventing outlandish pen names, and he never used the same one twice. But every contributor is entitled to only one bio page, and it’s normally headed with the author’s first byline in Bewildering Stories. Now, that early editor left us before we established our Biographies & Bibliographies department. If he had a bio page it would be headed by his e-mail signature: “The Invincible Spud.”
Michael is a native of New Jersey, where he lives with his family. He’s studying for an MFA degree at Farleigh Dickenson University. He enjoys writing fantasy, poems, and song lyrics.
“Grin, Grimlyn Grim” is a fantasy based on the “Pandora’s box” theme. It reads like a chapter in a longer story, but it’s distinguished in its own right by interesting characters, a colorful narrative, and well-described action scenes.
Morris Jacks’s bio sketch can be found here.
Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Morris... or Mike. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
