Kirsten Campbell

Kirsten lives in Westchester Country, New York. She’s published short fiction and poetry extensively in literary journals. She’s also a sculptress.

Kirsten dedicates “Dark Matters” to her son, David. If the real David was anything like the one in the story, he was very playful and quite a handful. I’m sure readers will smile and think, “Yes, that is the sort of thing little boys do!”

“Dark Matters” also has a playful turn of its own: space aliens must be kept secret to avoid alarming the public. But there’s no need to keep them a secret from little David; he’s as brave as he is curious.
