Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Mike Phillips
Mike Phillips attributes his love of literature to turning off the television during the summers at his early home on a farm in western Michigan. That sounds like a good idea, come to think of it. When I was a kid, though, I would not have missed my radio programs. But they were only 15 minutes long anyway.
He’s written a series of stories about the Crow Witch. In “The Planting of the Spectre” we’re introduced to young Sally Malone, who has her share of a child’s typical social problems: Sally has the soul of an artist, and artists are often lonely. And Sally has more important things to decide than how to carve a jack-o-lantern.
