Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Tim Jeffreys
Tim is from Manchester, England. He has a university degree in Graphic Art but has since turned to writing, which has also been one of his guiding interests. He has specialized in producing audio books of short stories.
“Their Eyes Were Flints” is a puzzling story about a bank official who is kidnapped by a madman and forced to command an army of snow men. On one hand, the story may be read as a vignette without a beginning or ending. On the other hand, it may be an allegory of life in a police state, somewhat like David Rank’s “This Gated Community.” Or it may satirize the possible motives behind “warrior emperor” Ying Zhen’s terracotta army.
