Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Matthew R. Black
Matt is from Conifer, Colorado and is in his last year in the Creative Writing school at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
“The Glass House” introduces a threesome on a vacation of sorts in a timeshare from hell. The premise is entirely realistic: incompatible people cramped together in very uncomfortable quarters causes one of them to blow his top.
But the accommodations are not rustic: no log cabin in the mountains in winter, just a house made almost entirely of glass. On one hand, the architecture provides eerie symbolism for a horror story; on the other hand, the literal setting is so ludicrous that the scenario can easily be re-imagined as a farce.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Matt. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
