Bewildering Stories welcomes...
Salvatore Buttaci
Salvatore lives in West Virginia and has written extensively in the genres of fiction and non-fiction, including poetry. He’s also published widely in national newspapers and magazines and has a large collection of his short stories available in book form.
“Behold, a Pale Horse” might be classified under more than one theme: post-apocalypse fiction, vampirism, and social satire. However, the story offers an ironic twist on similar treatments of the post-apocalypse vampire theme such as the film Omega Man and Richard Matheson’s classic novel I Am Legend: this time it’s the humans who have the fangs, and a serum that changes vampires into “mortals.”
