John lives with his family in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He writes many kinds of fiction and has published widely in print and on line.

“New Year” is a twist on time-travel stories in that the mode of transportation is a kiss. But the kiss must come from a time-traveler, and it seems to spread like a contagion from one person to the next. The hero of the story travels to a far future eerily similar to our present, and it raises the question whether time-traveling ability can be conferred upon presumably sentient androids...
